Gungahlin residents are being invited to view and comment on the preliminary sketch plans for the new Gungahlin Leisure Centre that will be on display at the Gungahlin Marketplace today from 4 till 7pm.
The preliminary plans are to be refined over the next few months and this is a great opportunity for Gungahlin residents to have a look at what is being proposed and to have their say. Members of the design team, as well as staff from Sport and Recreation, will be on hand to answer questions and listen to comments.

It is anticipated that construction will commence by mid 2012 and will be completed in early 2014.
I encourage anyone with an interest in this exciting project to come and have a look and let us know what you think.
